Join me for a fun and insightful evening to celebrate the newly opened BAMFORD HAYBARN with an interactive talk on the fascinating and current topic of gut health. Helping you to better understand and appreciate why gut health is so important and how the gut microbiome has such an impact on our overall health. I’ll also aim to debunk, demystify and simplify some of the confusing aspects surrounding gut health and how including some basic principles with our food and lifestyle choices can create significant positive changes.

You will have heard expressions like ‘gut instinct’, ‘gut feeling’ or ‘gut reaction’, but you may not be quite so in tune with just HOW strong a relationship there is between the health of our gut and our mind. In fact, the core connection between the gut and the brain is a real and mutually beneficial one that involves the nervous system and the trillions (yes, really!) of microbes that live in the gut.

I’m thrilled to be co-hosting a ‘mind-gut connection’ themed brunch event with the wonderful Yeotown Kitchen as part of their inspired brunch and supper club series. You’ll be treated to a specially curated three-course brunch using some of the recipes from the ‘Mind over Matter’ chapter in my book BE GOOD TO YOUR GUT as well as receiving a signed copy of the book.
