Red velvet breakfast bowl

Serves one


  • 1 small beetroot peeled and cut into small chunks
  • 2 tablespoons cacao powder
  • 1/2 cup of organic strawberries + 4-5 extra berries to garnishย (washed throughly, green cap removed and cut into quarters)
  • 1 tablespoon almond nut butter
  • 1 teaspoon rawย honey
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened coconut yogurt or organic full fat live yogurt
  • 1/4 cup full fat coconut milk or organic full fat non-homogenised milk – or you can sub in for another non dairy milk if you prefer
  • Cupped handful of cacao nibs to garnish


Prepare all of the ingredients and put the garnish berries to one side. Put everything (except the berries to garnish and the cacao nibs) into a high speed blender and blend on the highest power until you have a smooth consistency. Transfer to a bowl and garnish with the berries and nibs and devour with delight.
